I paint acrylic Landscapes mostly of Marin County. In the summer I do water-based Plein Air landscapes and seascapes on the Rhode Island Shore and surroundings. Many years of photography have helped me focus on light and its effect on composition

After a great art course in freshman year at college I took up painting 45 years later at an adult education art class at a high school in Connecticut.
Now I take classes with Bernie Healy at Marin MOCA. Most of my career was spent in the New York magazine business doing marketing, promotion, advertising and direct marketing. Fortune, Ladies Home Journal, Ziff Davis and Garden Way provided me with a diverse spectrum of markets and advertising. I moved to Marin county several years ago to be near my children and grandchildren.
