Novato, CA
A love for animals and nature keeps my interest in finding the right medium for each subject. Pastels seem to me to be the perfect way to capture some animals softness and yet use wonderful colors. Landscapes and seascapes call for using a variety of mediums depending on the story I want to tell.
I was born in San Francisco and moved to Marin in 1976. Studied art at College of Marin and Indian Valley College. Studies include: life sculpture, bronze casting, oil painting, water color, drawing, acrylics, pastel, wood block printing, etching and photography and ceramics. Private courses include cartooning, illustration, pastel, photography, botanical drawing.
