Wet and Nuno Felting: Make your own scarf

Saturday, October 19; 10am - 2pm

Instructor: Tabitha Warren

Welcome to Nuno/Wet felting where you will have a chance to get your hands wet, and learn the process of creating your own scarf from beginning to end. Working with a variety of fibers and fabrics, you will learn what does and does not felt, how to lay out delicate fibers, how to make and use pre-felts, and so much more. At the end of class you will have something you can take home as a work in progress (with embellishments to come), or a finished item for yourself or someone else.

Your teacher, Tabitha Warren, aka, me, has been an award winning fiber artist for years. Not only do I create wraps and scarves with merino and alpaca, but I also make silk paintings, and spin my own yarn. I especially love making supercoil.

Members $80; non-members $90

Plus $15 materials fee for silk, wool, and other materials, paid to instructor on day of class

Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, 781 Hamilton Parkway (behind Beso Cafe)
