Spend the day learning this meditative, contemporary papermaking technique with flax roving. Flax paper is highly textured lending itself to various applications for sculpture and collage. During this class you will build an organic form by lashing rattan together, then apply your paper to the form.
This class is designed to make friends with your inner-critic and to have fun. At the end of the day you will have a beautiful fiber sculpture. Plant inclusions and foraged materials are encouraged.
Jacqueline is a member of IAPMA, International Association of Papermakers and Paper Artists, and the NM State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She is an exhibiting artist and teaches papermaking and fiber art workshops at various locations.
