3-Day Intensive Abstract Art Workshop: Harmony, Moods, Rhythm, Palettes and More!

Friday 6:30-9pm; Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-4pm

This workshop delves more into the experience of color and how you can make your paintings more dynamic with color. Learn how to express your feelings, moods, and natural inherent rhythms. Make and choose color palettes you love that become uniquely yours. Loaded with exercises and techniques, learn how to make color snap, pop and harmonize. This is a great class for people who have some knowledge of color and want to feel more expressive in its use and get more creatively wild with color. Plenty of time to explore on your own as well as one-on-one help. Acrylics. All levels welcome.

Suzanne Jacquot earned a BFA at UC Berkeley in psychology and design, an MFA from Mills College in sculpture and photography, and an Art Therapy Certificate from Sonoma State University. She has shown her work in various galleries and museums throughout the Bay Area, and currently teaches Abstract Art at Marin Museum of Contemporary Art and on-line.

Grant Taylor studied photography at Art Center College of Design, and art at The Art Students League and New York Academy of Art in NYC. He taught photography at Parsons School of Design in NYC, and has co-facilitated Abstract Art workshops at Marin Museum of Contemporary Art. He is currently living in Santa Fe, NM.

Cancellation Policy: Fees are due at time of registration. You may cancel up to one (1) week prior to start of class/workshop and the fee, less $25 for processing, will be refunded to you. Should MarinMOCA cancel a class/workshop, you will receive a full refund.

Should you cancel less than one (1) week prior to a class or workshop begins, you will not receive a refund of any portion of your registration fee. There are no refunds for individual classes that are missed within a monthly series.
