Learn how to use mark-making for self expression. Develop a visual language that incorporates the use of different materials.
We will explore mood, speed, rhythm, repetition, variety, and personal affinity in relationship to drawing. We will use charcoal, pencils, pens, and oil pastels to create powerful and expressive drawings.
Instructor: Diana Belenky received her MFA from the New York Academy of Art. She has taught at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco and College of Marin. Belenky has won several competitions and awards including the 2020 Martha’s Vineyard Prize, the 32nd National Drawing Competitive Exhibition at Gormley Gallery and the Posey Grant in Painting. www.dianabelenky.com

Cancellation Policy: Fees are due at time of registration. You may cancel up to one (1) week prior to start of class/workshop and the fee, less $25 for processing, will be refunded to you. Should MarinMOCA cancel a class/workshop, you will receive a full refund.
Should you cancel less than one (1) week prior to a class or workshop begins, you will not receive a refund of any portion of your registration fee. There are no refunds for individual classes that are missed within a monthly series.
