Intuitive Acrylic Abstract Painting Workshop

Saturday & Sunday, September 22 & 23; 10am - 4pm

Instructor: The Artist Hines, Artist in Residence

 

This workshop is designed to teach anyone how to let go, loosen up and create beautiful colorful abstract paintings in acrylics. Students will learn how to overcome their fears and paint with color and expression. Each day the students will be lead through the stages of producing and completing their own abstract paintings. Students will learn the principles of abstraction, easy approach to color theory as well as a wealth of information regarding acrylic supplies and materials. A suggested supply list is provided for each student upon registering. This is a fun and informative workshop for anyone wishing to learn how to paint with acrylics and create beautiful abstract paintings. This class is limited to eight students to provide one on one instruction for each student. All levels welcomed.

The Artist Hines is MarinMOCA’s 2018 Artist in Residence. He is a full time artist specializing in contemporary fine art painting in acrylics and has been exhibiting his artwork for over twenty years. Hines is a member of the International Guild of Realism, the Portrait Society of America and The Artists Guild of San Francisco. Cancellation Policy: Fees are due at time of registration. You may cancel up to one (1) week prior to start of class/workshop and the fee, less $25 for processing, will be refunded to you. Should MarinMOCA cancel a class/workshop, you will receive a full refund.

Should you cancel less than one (1) week prior to a class or workshop begins, you will not receive a refund of any portion of your registration fee. There are no refunds for individual classes that are missed within a monthly series.
