Wet and Nuno Felting: Make Your Own Scarf

Saturday, May 25; 10am - 1pm

This is a wet felting class where the students will have the chance to make one (or possibly two) scarves using wet or Nuno felting. Working a variety of wool and other fibers, students will be taught what does and does not felt, how felt can be used to make patterns, how to lay out the fiber to be felted, and how to felt it either to itself or through silk chiffon, or other loose-woven natural fabrics.

Tabitha has been an award-winning fiber artist for several years, winning the top honors at the California State Fair and Marin County Fairs for Nuno/wet felting, spinning, silk painting, and other decorative arts and designs for many years.

Fees:                    Members $75; non-members $85; plus $10 materials fee for silk, wool, and other materials.

Cancellation Policy: Fees are due at time of registration. You may cancel up to one (1) week prior to start of class/workshop and the fee, less $25 for processing, will be refunded to you. Should MarinMOCA cancel a class/workshop, you will receive a full refund.

Should you cancel less than one (1) week prior to a class or workshop begins, you will not receive a refund of any portion of your registration fee. There are no refunds for individual classes that are missed within a monthly series.
