My recent art is about my personal reflections on living in our complex world. The Chaos Series is based on the unseen, but still present and smoldering, social and political occurrences.

Sandi Miot is an artist working primarily in the ancient medium of encaustics. Richly textured and saturated with deep pigments, her work combines new and unique techniques with her exceptional command of this venerable medium. Encaustic is the classical Greek art of painting with hot, pigmented beeswax. Her forms are a visual dialogue and reference to her personal search for meaning and her feelings about life's philosophies and choices.
