Art is the result of opening to the stream of creativity that freely flows through each of us. One becomes an artist when they sense this stream and allow creativity to come forward.
I always wanted to be an artist. I wanted to draw and sew and paint, but I had no support to guide me or teach me. I took up photography about five years ago and found it to be a profound experience of sensing the love that is inherent to each living thing. We moved to Marin three years ago to a home a few blocks from Marin Moca. My husband and I came to an open studio and realized there would be a profound change in my confidence and art styles if I got a studio and became part of the fabric of Marin Moca and change has occurred. I’ve leaned to take risks, to not be so hard on myself, and to give a new art styles a chance before I dismiss it. I have leaned that I must get out of my way to become the artist I have always wanted to be. Most importantly, have learned to to relax and enjoy the ride.
