Helen Hillsman Heath adores drawing and drawings and loves welcoming others to its versatility, power, beauty, nuance, and intimacy.
In this workshop you will be guided in developing your drawing abilities and practice in a very personal way. You will focus on paying attention to yourself and responding to your work as it progresses, which will involve both self-connection and skill development.
This workshop is designed both for those who "can't draw a stick figure" and for confident artists.

Helen Hillsman Heath was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Marin County. She has been drawing for more than five decades with the strong support of her mother and father. A graduate of the Marin Waldorf School and the rurally located Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, Hillman's art training includes Lacoste School of the Arts, Provence, France. She is an active Artist Member of MarinMOCA.
