Bring a playful spirit as we explore the nature of wet-into-wet painting in the mediums of watercolor and fluid acrylic. Learn to mix your colors directly on the paper and enhance atmospheric and textual effects. Class includes practice with degrees of wetness, brushwork, color saturation, rhythmic composition, visual interest, and intuitive choices. All levels of skill and painting styles are welcome. Visual improvisation and the cultivation of the individual artist’s voice are encouraged. Enjoy the creation of beautiful passages in your paintings and the poetic nature of this non-traditional painting style.
