Lauren Jade Szabo: As Above, So Below
End of Summer Social: Artist talk, live dance performance, and studio visit

Join us for a unique opportunity on the eve of the Equinox for an afternoon with Lauren Jade Szabo in the Second Floor Gallery at her solo show, As Above, So Below and our annual ART FWD group exhibition in the main galleries. The public program includes an artist talk, signature beverage, live dance performance and studio visit. Szabo will share her artistic practice and celebrate her appointment at MarinMOCA as artist in residence, instructor, studio artist and member on campus. Catch both of our summer exhibitions before they culminate on September 28th with our ticketed ART FWD Gala. The End of Summer Social is free and open to the public.

Colorful or festive attire is encouraged and please bring your own kites for a casual potluck out on the lawn, feel free to bring snacks and refreshments.

3-3:15: Artist signature beverage and light refreshments are served 
3:15-3:45: Presentation and Second Floor Gallery walk through
3:45-4pm:Q & A
4-4:15pm: break/social
4:15-4:25: Live Perfromance with Morgan Olson, Main Galleries
4:25-4:45: Conversation and Q&A with Morgan and Art All Around Us
4:45-5: Studio visit at 781 Hamilton Parkway, Studio E
5 - 6pm: Informal picnic outside 500 Palm drive or 781 building with kite flying
