Liqiong (Lily) Huo is a multidisciplinary artist based in California, US. She is a recent graduate from Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI, with a background in architectural design, furniture design, and fine art painting. In her work, Lily has been exploring her interests in existential and metaphysical concepts, mysticism, and spirituality. In a majority of her paintings, Lily adopted a playful, jolly, and even childlike expression through the use of vivid colors and bold brush strokes to inspire lightheartedness, smiles, and the celebration of being and living in the present moment. She believes that the journey of searching for self and meaning is full of joy and excitement and that we can always find greatness in the smallest and simplest things in life.
